Es un hecho constatado que la comunidad de WordPress España es la segunda comunidad más activa del mundo, con más de 50 grupos de meetups, sólo por detrás de EEUU y por razones más que obvias.
A la hora de escribir estas líneas se habían celebrado ya en 2019 cuatro WordCamps (Zaragoza, Gran Canaria, Madrid y Bilbao) y, al menos, otras siete programadas -o en proceso- para los siguientes meses. En total, once WordCamps en un año, ¡casi una por mes!
De un tiempo a esta parte, entre los miembros de la comunidad de WordPress España se ha estado planteando la idea de empezar a hacer WordCamps de nicho debido a la alta demanda que hay por parte de los usuarios de WordPress, aunque por diversos motivos organizativos aún no habíamos conseguido nuestro objetivo.
Además, y si todo sale bien, en los últimos tres meses del año nos vamos a encontrar con cuatro WordCamps en distintas ciudades de Andalucía. Dadas estas circunstancias, desde la comunidad de WordPress Sevilla hemos decidido innovar y modificar un poco el formato del evento al que estamos acostumbrados y dirigirlo al conjunto de wordpressers que se dedican o se quieren dedicar a hacer cosas con código sin importar su perfil.
Por tanto, has de saber que para poder aprovechar esta WordCamp para desarrolladores debes tener unos mínimos fundamentos de programación web.

It is a fact check that the WordPress Spanish Community is the second most active community in the world, with more than 50 Meetups groups, just behind the US and for obvious reasons.
At the moment of writing these lines, four WordCamps (Zaragoza, Gran Canaria, Madrid and Bilbao) have been held and, at least, other seven are scheduled -or in the process- for the next months. In total, eleven WordCamps in a year, almost once a month!
Recently, among the members of the community of WordPress Spain, the idea of organising a niche WordCamp has been considering due to the high demand of WordPress users, although by various reasons we have not to achieve our target.
Furthermore, if everything runs smoothly, in the last three months of the year we are going to reach four WordCamps in different Andalusian cities. In such circumstances, from the Seville WordPress community, we have decided to innovate and modify a little bit the event format we are used to and head it to the group of WordPressers that devote themselves to write code, or who want to learn to do it inside of the WordPress ecosystem.
In other words, you have to know to benefit yourself of this WordCamp for Developers you need basic knowledge of programming foundations.
